Vanessa Paradis have split The couple
Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp have split The couple -- whose 14-year relationship has been rumoured to be in trouble for several months -- have confirmed they have "amicably" parted ways and appealed for privacy for the sake of their two children, Lily-Rose, 13, and 10-year-old Jack.
A statement from their representatives read: "Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have amicably separated. Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children."
News of the split comes just a month after it was claimed the couple - who have not appeared in public together for over a year - were "working on" getting their relationship back on track.
A source said recently: ''For the first time in a long time, he is talking about her. They both want to make it work.''
And the 'Dark Shadows' star recently blasted untrue speculation about his relationship being over.
He said: ''The rumours are not true. They are absolutely not true.'
''No matter what I say about this, people believe the opposite. I can't say enough about it not being over.''

Vanessa Paradis Couple separate after 14 years
The break-up after 14 years comes following the Pirates of the Caribbean actor Depp, 49, being linked with The Rum Diary co-star Amber Heard, 26, in April.
Sources said problems set in between American heart-throb Depp and French singer and actress Vanessa after they moved with their two children Lily-Rose, 13, and Jack, ten, from the south of France to Los Angeles.
An insider said last night: “It’s so sad. Johnny and Vanessa gambled that they could move to California and be on long stays on film locations for his career.
“They bet that things would continue there as they had in the south of France. They lost that bet.
“She went seven years between albums and films, while he became Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates films.”
In January it emerged that Depp and Vanessa were living separate lives, staying in different hotels while in the same city. There were rumours that the relationship was in tatters.
They denied any rift, but have not been seen together since — and have not attended a red carpet bash jointly in over a year.
Vanessa, 39, who enjoyed a UK chart hit with Joe le taxi in 1987, even skipped the lavish tenth birthday party Depp threw for Jack in LA in April.
Just last month, Depp repeated his denials of a love split while he was in London.
He said: “The rumours are not true. They are absolutely not true. No matter what I say, people believe the opposite. I can’t say enough about it not being over.”
Amber was reported to have joined Depp in Las Vegas earlier this year as he plugged his new film Dark Shadows — and was pictured boarding his private jet.
Sparks of passion are said to have flown between Johnny and bisexual Amber when they filmed The Rum Diary in Puerto Rico in 2009. She is said to have danced for him seductively on the set of the movie, which is based on a Hunter S Thompson book.
Amber has said of her co-star: “He’s a wonderful artist and such a talented person. He’s charming.”
The actress — who “came out” with lesbian lover Tasya van Ree in 2010 — has also said: “When it comes to love, I’m totally open.”
Depp and Paradis met in Paris in 1998 when he saw the French star sitting at the bar of the Costes Hotel and invited her to join him at his table, where they spoke for hours. They soon set up home in Le Plan-de-la-Tour, a village in the south of France.
But as Depp’s profile rose and they were forced to spend more time in Hollywood, tensions developed in their relationship.
Depp established himself as one of Hollywood’s most bankable stars with the success of 2003’s Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. He is now thought to be worth a staggering £200million.
But Vanessa appeared to put her singing and acting career on the backburner to look after their children. Depp recently admitted he missed family life in France, saying the country gave him “a marvellous family and also an equilibrium which I missed enormously”.
In 2010, Vanessa said of her man: “I could make an endless list of all the things I admire about him.
“We understand that, if we want our relationship to continue, we must give each other space and trust each other.”
In another interview, she explained why the pair never felt the need to marry. She said: “I love the romance of ‘Let’s get married’. But then, when you have it so perfect... I mean I’m more married than anybody can be — we have two kids. Maybe one day — but it’s something I can really do without.”
But the tone changed in a recent interview in which she fuelled talk of a split: “I have a problem with the term ‘soulmates’. It scares me.
“It’s such a strong statement — it’s like a marriage contract. I believe in love and I want to believe it lasts forever. But you have to take things a day at a time and never know what comes next. All you can do is hope and love and live.”
Vanessa has cut a forlorn figure since rumours surfaced their romance was on the rocks.
Before meeting her, Depp was engaged to actress Winona Ryder and romanced supermodel Kate Moss. Vanessa dated US rocker Lenny Kravitz.
The couple will now have to split their assets — including homes in LA, Paris and the Bahamas — and custody of their children.
Vanessa Paradis have officially announced their split
Johnny Depp and his long-term partner Vanessa Paradis have officially announced their split, after 14 years as an item.
Vanessa Paradis Have Amicably Separated
With these words, released exclusively to Entertainment Tonight, spokesman Johnny Depp has officially announced the end of his affair with Vanessa Paradis.
Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis were together since 1998, never married and have two children, a girl of 13 and a boy of 10 years.
Vanessa Paradis Sad
Sad news this morning, Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have confirmed their split after 14 years together. They first hooked up in 1998 and had two kids soon after, but never married.
But, if there are any positives we can take from this, it's that Johnny Depp is single!
In Memory Vanessa Paradis
With the news that Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis are going their separate ways, we're devestated at the prospect of never seeing this gorgeously chiselled couple together EVER again. There'll be no more perfectly-coordinated but utterly-cool outfits, no more nuzzling on the red carpet, no more gushing about their happy home life and no more matchy-matchy cheekbone action *silently weeps*
Yesterday, just hours after announcing that they have separated, reports emerged that Depp has been struggling to save his relationship with long-term love Vanessa for quite some time. As previously reported in Grazia, the pair have been living separate lives in recent months and speculation has been mounting that an announcement of their split was imminent. Cut to Tuesday afternoon and, in a joint statement via their publicist, the two revealed that they had 'amicably separated', adding: 'Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children.' So sad! On the plus side, this means Johnny Depp is a single man, ladies. Hmm, should Jamie Hince be worried?
It's fair to say that Johnny and Vanessa have become one of our all-time favourite celeb couplings. With his shaggy hair, rocker shirts, bead necklaces and ratty panama hats alongside her au-natural waves, gappy teeth and ethereal '20s-esque dresses, they were nothing short of boho perfection. And thanks to her Parisian ways, Vanessa nurtured her beau's carefree attitude, with the world becoming fascinated by their secluded life in the French countryside where they brought up their two children, Jack and Lily-Rose.
The last time the duo was pictured together was way back in 2010 (a slight hint that all was not rosy maybe?), but during their 14 years together, they offered up an ample array of heart-warming moments for us to coo over now that they are no more. So from appearing at the Venice Film Festival in 2001 wearing co-ordinating black suits to hitting the red carpet in his 'n' hers headgear, the gallery above is a homage to our beloved Jo-essa...

So, what are we learing from the latest live-album by Vanessa Paradis, recorded at the Opera de Versailes? Well, nothing. Because from earlier live-records we already knew that she really, really can sing. That she has many great songs in her catalogue. That if you re-arrange those songs for a string quartet, or an acoustic setting, they’re still great songs. So the real question concerning Une nuit à Versailles isn’t: how does it sound? Or: is it a good show on the dvd? No, it’s: just how lovely does she look in the 56-page photo-book that comes along in the deluxe version.
